i think the other reason that cause my hair falling is i dont have enough sleep..
After my 2nd birth, I had very sufficient sleep (becoz my baby slept thru the nite since birth) but the hair still fall in bunches starting ard 4mths till abt 10mths. So, it's hormonal     Just let it be lah. But not having enuf rest will affect your milk supply.

My baby is already 8+ months.. hair still falling and the amount did not get any lesser. Do you think it's ok to have my hair dyed or highlighted? or perm? Will it drop more?
No, my hairdresser advise me not to perm, colour or straighten the hair during this period coz u r giving more stress to ur hair which already have weak roots..
so be patient and it will reduce soon..

I also have this problem. My bb is 4 mths now.    Since i already got very less hair, now can even see my scalp.    so scary.    so i apply hair tonic (brand is Regan-can get from watson).    this tonic is to make the hair grow.
Huh at first, i more worry that i might get "botak" because of my father side genetic which normally affect men only. I also bought the tonic from cosway but haven't use yet and all hair that fall generally regrown quite fast. So now no so worry about hair fall.

Why not ask the hairstyle to recomend a new hair style which will not    visible your hair scalp. i have a friend who did this.

Thank for your valuable information, samycl. Any ideas/reading saying that the hair falling problem will stop at when the BB at what age? Any mommies have any ideas?
Some mommies face the problem for few weeks, some few months. Eventually until yr baby is 1 year old. Some recommend to continue taking prenancy vitamin, some says eat eggs..

I tried hair treatment, not tie my hair up, not to stress my hair.. all fail. finally decide to let go my long hair and cut it short. Then Keep relax and stay happy with my baby...

I have my hair cutted short and notice less hair falling.

From my reading, hair fall after prenancy is very normal. It cause by prenancy hormone. most mommies will enjoy a strong and thick during 9 month prenancy.
Hair fall normally start 3month after delivery. At short, the falling hair is the hair that mommies should lose at the time of prenancy.
