I'm not sure if the oil is really smelly but the one my urut lady uses is ok.. it absorbs into the skin and not oily. I m*ssage in the afternoon. Lucky you .. can wash hair after 12 days.. I only wash after one month. In order to prevent the hair from being oily, I used baby powder to put all over the hair and then comb it... it works like a dry shampoo only cheaper! But the hair a little whitish because of the powder. I do that every 2-3 days and it helps to keep me sane for that whole month. Oh btw, if you wash hair after 12 days, wh*t*ver blood clot you have inside your body will stop discharging becuase you wet your head. that's why i waited for 1 month to wash my hair. you might want to consider waiting for later to wash your hair.. each time you urut the stomach, you will have discharge. |

Sorry for the late reply..during confinement, cannot read/go to internet much because my eyes get tired easily. Kak Noor does not apply slimming cream/herbs to the stomach. I understand some people applies some lime and kapur, etc... This bengkung is made of cloth (bought from kak noor 4 years ago when i had my first child) and I put bind at least 8 hours a day. I wrapped the bengkung since the day i discharge from the hospital and it helps in holding our uterus in place.
need some opinion.... the urut lady that i engaged asked whether I want to urut in the morning or afternoon. According to her, urut in the afternnon is better, coz I won't need to shower again untill the next day which is good to prevent 'wind' from entering the body. but I was thinking maybe I can't tahan smelling of oil the whole day till the next day... plus I cannot shower within 6 hours after urut..... what to do with the oily hair after urut since cannot wash hair during the first twelve days? How you maintain your hair during confinement? |

Just an update on my confinement. I've decided to engage the services of Kak Noor again as I've experienced her services before (3.5 years) ago and also my uterus hurts when I walk as I carried something on my 2nd day of confinement. I delivered on July 11. Kak Noor pushed back my uterus on Wenesday and it was a relief to walk again! she also pressed my hip bones back in position so that I don't end up with big hips.. : ) She also pulled my hair and it want "pop" to get rid of the wind in my head. Overall, I am very satisfied with her services and plan to m*ssage a few more times to get rid of the wind in my body. She also does m*ssage for those who wants to slim down after confinment. Adeline, Kak Noor stays in Shah Alam and she travels to Klang as well. If you want, can give her a call. |

It's quite hard to say how much the urut lady charges as the depends on the distance she has to travel. I think the nornal rate now is between RM60-85 / session. My Malay friends say they m*ssage about 3 times continously to get rid of the wind in the body after delivery. Of course the more times you m*ssage is better and sometimes the urut lady helps to push the uterus back into place. |

Any mummies located in OUG area due in mid-July looking for urut lady? I am due mid-July and my urut lady from Shah Alam. If anyone needs her services at the same time, we might be able to negotiate the price. I engaged her services during my first delivery and she is quite good and last time her charges were lower as I was in Klang. She does the hot stone on the tummy, bengkung (can buy cloth from her), even m*ssages the head to release wind (pulls strands of hair and it goes "pop")and also m*ssages the breast to soften the milk ducts as I was breastfeeding.
dear all, i hv a friend just delivered one week ago and is looking for an urut lady. Can i know the price quoted is per session or for few sessions? by the way, normally how many session will be required? And does it really help in slimming or for mussle relaxation? |

Hi Erincmw, You can also urut after the c-sect but you need to call her to ask when is the better time to urut. Her name Kak Noor - 012-2548603. You can quote my name Madam Wong, due in July 12.. i called her a few weeks ago to inform her I need her services in July just to prepare her. She told me since this time in OUG, she will charge RM70, normally RM75 (last time was RM50 only as I took 8 times) But I thought if there is another mother wanting it, we can negotiate further and ask her come during the same days so that she can in Old Klang Road the whole day. One of my colleague engaged her services 4 months after delivery to slim down. I understand that her whole family is into this urut biz. What I like about her is she doesn't ask me to buy this and that (unlike my first urut lady) and the only thing I bought was the bengkung (RM30, i think). And the best part is she m*ssages my breast to soften the milk ducts.. it certainly made breastfeeding easier. Teos, Kak Noor also burps if you have a lot of wind..but with me, she didn't burp much. I think that's pretty normal. Even now, when i go for Pei Ling pre-natal m*ssage, one of the ladies (Indian) burps but the other Indo lady doesn't. Guess it depends on the m*sseure. Kak Noor never ask for extra money neither did she ask for sarong. But my first urut lady did ask for money.. she said used for donation to an orphanage near her house.. she's also the one who ask me to buy this and buy that as she doesn't provide anything other than m*ssage services (i.e m*ssage oil, slimming oil). This one of the reason why I engaged Kak Noor for urut after that. It was such a vast difference with Kak Noor. BTW, Kak Noor also does pre-natal m*ssages and I found this out after i signed up with Pei Ling pre natal package. Maybe can try her services before engaging her for the confinement urut. |

Hi. My office used to have this clerk who does urut session to anyone who feels tired or stress. And yes, each time she will burp. and she says it's due to the angin in the person's body. However, as she is colleague, i dont think they gave her any money. If got very minimal just as token (maybe RM10). I never used urut services before as i dont believe in the oriental/eastern concept of hot/cold, wind/angin etc. |

Hi There, I am staying in Subang and will be due in end Aug. Wanted to have additional contact for a good urut lady. DO you mind to give contact to me since she is staying at Shah Alam? One more thing would like to check with you, I have my previous urut lady. I feel a bit strange and would like to confirm with you on their style and so called pantang larang. Whenever she urut me, she will "burp" quite heavily and quite freguently. She said she has to burp out as it is the "wind" from my body. Is it true?? Secondly, whenever finish the urut each time, we need to give extra money (can be any amount) to help her release the wind that she took out from my body. And 3rd, after the last session, I need to give her my sarung (either old or new) as it is tradition. Do your urut lady did all these too?? Just wonder and query only. Better to confirm before 100% trusting her. THis because eveytime she "burp"...i feel veyr scary............ |
