The banana boat range is indeed very good for dry and itchy skin..
I am using it every day for my dry skin especially leg..
for prevention of stretch marks, Bio Oil is a good buy..
many of my frens use it and no stretch marks... it can easily be bought at any pharmacies..

Been trying the aloe vera gel for 2 weeks+ now. Wow, it works like wonder....not sure if it can reduce the stretch mark, but it really works wonders on the itchiness on tummy and other parts on body. Been applying it everywhere twice a day after shower. No more itchiness and feels so good!

Btw, gynae said all those sold in the market and claim can reduce stretch mark is lying only, hhmm...maybe women's market really easy to earn money coz every woman also scared of stretch mark.

Dear Pei Wen,
My skin is allergy, but i use petroleum jelly during pregnancy, at last, no strechmark at all!        Maybe you can try that. Good luck to you!
Hi all, wouldn't the petroleum jelly and Palmer's lotion/cream make your tummy sticky? I am using Palmer's cream, but I don't use it every day and not twice a day. Only manage to use it at times when I know I won't be going out to sunny/hot place. Coz whenever applied and ended up in hot place, the cream felt so sticky on me, plus sweat...really very uncomfortable. yea, I am interested in the Aloe Vera gel too..where can it be bought? Thanks.
Harlo Bee Koon,
No really sticky lo. Cz i apply after shower/before go to bed. I had put the jelly overall my body. I'm only put once a day. Ask your hubby help you la! hehe~~~ Me also force my hubby help everyday during pregnancy.

i experienced before. it start during my 38week prenancy. it start from tummy, then hand then leg and at the end, whole body. itchness eventually stop until my baby about 3 months old... shock!

Don't worry, it may not effect you.    Based on my experience, i come out with this theory. "Hormone changes make my skin dry, so itch and heaty rash (red spot) appear on the skin."

Try to use minyak zaitun on you tummy. it also good as a strectmark oil. Drink more more more water, avoid heaty and spicy food. if affect other areas, use aloevera gel. Use chinese confinement herbal bath also help if affect full body.

Don't worry, i experienced it end of last month when i was about 35weeks pregnant. I got red tiny spots up from my tummy until my feet. My Obgyn told me it's a effect of hormone and it will go away after delivery. He didn't give me any medicine. Luckily, after a week, it gone.

When you feel heat and sweating a lot, you will feel very itchy. So, try to take cold shower and stay inside air-con room more often, it will reduce your itchy. You feel better then.
