I am not aware about this SLS thing. But our family has been using Johnson & Johnson baby bath & shampoo for generations. I am using it also. I think it should be safe for babies. Furthermore, it's a well-known and old brand already. ~Not meaning to promote this product~
I love Johnson & Johnson....but I was surprise when 8 yrs ago when my niece could not take their products. She was allergic to it and her mummy changed to other brand , I can't remember what........

Just that hear, I just want to advise ( if it has not be advised )....you know when advertisements, they like to put powder at the baby;s rose bud or even backside, just becareful ....as some powders contain starch and it seems can cause cancer in a long run....

I told my gynae before that I like to put powder on myself esp. "there" and she said "DON'T" straight away....

So when I delivered I didnt do so to my baby........so just an advise...!

hi ZhiqingMum,

Yes, i do apply lotion for my girl after bath. Mostly i'll apply on her ankle and elbow and do a lil bit of massage. then only i apply a thin layer of lotion all over her body. As what my paed told me, they move a lot of their ankle so we need to apply the lotion so that the area won't become so dry.
Thanks angielau & peimum, TQ for the information.
ZhiqingMum, u r welcome.

Hi peimum, understand that you are using sebamed on yout bb. mind to share your opinion towards this product ? I'm using sebamed body lotion for myself, but not sure about their baby products. I'm using johnson & johnson for my bb.
hi ZhiqingMum,
yup, i'm using sebamed baby products for my 7.5mths girl from the day one.

Body shampoo & Hair Shampoo - the smells is good

Body lotion - Not greasy and very fast to be absorb by the baby skin. the smell is like the body shampoo

Nappy rash cream - a bit sticky but work well on my girl's "pat pat'

Baby Cleansing bar - very mild cleansing bar

Give it a try, sure u will like it....;)
Thanks peimum !
BTW, do you apply lotion to your bb ? If yes, what the reason ? To me, the bb skin is the softest already, so no need to add on anything, rite ?. But, I normally will apply the baby powder after bath. Mind to share your thought ?
Hi,

I think not advisible to put baby powder, coz the powder will "fly" anyway and baby might "breath" thru this powder, is better to apply lotion.
I like to apply lotion for my baby, it will make my baby smell nice.

Hi Mingnee,

I used d blue (unperfumed) eubos, so far its ok la but it contained SLS lor n as for sebamed, d smell is good but for d bb shampoo, it makes my girl's hair a bit entangled lor dats y i wanna try dis i Buds.

I oso tried d eubos cammomile bath oil (pink bottle). Its nice smell too but i think it stings d eyes la. It leaves a very thin layer of oil after u rinsed it. Sometimes i will put abt 2    drops of dis oil onto a damp hanky then i use dis hanky to clean my girl's face especially after she ate fish. I oso put a few drops into a small basin of warm water to    wipe my girl's body b4 she goes to sleep. It gives her a nice smell when i kissed her        .
I always bath my baby before sleep where he is too active. Then I use the baby lotion to massage him. Then he smell good oso, that's why I like the lotion a lot.

Yes, there are 2 types of Buds product, the 1 I bought is called 'head to toe wash' with orange label, there is no shampoo in this range, I think this is for new born. The 1 with white label contain baby bath, shampoo and lotion is for kids. I use the i-green shower gel too. If u want to know more about i-green product, pls log on to www.i-green.com.my.
Btw, pls share the experience with the Sebamed and Eubos baby bath. I haven't try Eubos, how is it ?
Thanks for sharing.

is there any organic shampoo/bath for baby?
Hi Zakiah,

Dat day i saw in Jusco selling dis brand name 'I Bud'.    I didnt really paid much attention to it cos i was in a hurry. If i am not mistaken it is an organic toiletries products for bb made locally. Its a bit pricey tho. Wonder any mummy has used it b4?
I try Buds from I-Green before, It only sell at most of the Jusco and Parkson One U, Safe n Sound and Hytex Town. It cost RM29.90/200mL. But you can get the buy 2 free 1 promotion pack for RM58.90 in a purple plastic case. It contain baby bath, lotion and rashes cream.
baby bath - smell good
baby lotion - light and easy to absorb, smell good also
rashes cream - cure rashes fast
All the products are pl*nts base, no harmful chemical but expensive !
Hi Mingnee,

Since ur bb is using dis I Bud products, may i know if d bb bath or shampoo will sting d eyes or not?

It seems dat I Bud hv 2 types of bb products. 1 is wz pic of a bb n another 1 is wzout a bb pic but written down as 'bb body n head shampoo' (If i am not mistaken). Both oso organic. Which 1 did u use?

Thanks a lot.
Hi, Vicky,
The Buds product I mentioned is that 1 with baby pic (orange label). I did try the Sebamed oso n notice that Buds baby bath have less foam. I didn't use    baby shampoo since my baby just 4 mths, not many hair mah ! I find that my baby happy wit it, I don think it sting his eye.
Hi Mingnee,

Thanks for ur reply. Yesterday was our Sban Jusco sales day so i took d opportunity to buy d same 1 like urs. It has a very mild smell eh but i hvnt tried yet cos hvnt finis wz my sebamed n eubos.

Btw, where did u get d 'buy 2 free 1 promotion pack'?

Thanks again. Cheers.
