Just an update on cloth diapers. I just got mine from Sandra at http://miabambina.com. I bought the Bum Genius and so far they work well. The inserts that come with it can absorb a lot of water. So the inserts are wet but the outer layer touching baby's butt is dry. If baby doesn't poo, I use one diaper for as long as 4-5 hours. It can also last through the night. I wash and soak in hot water and detergent to get the stains out. So if you are wondering what type to get, Bum Genius is pretty good. Dear Ailain, Would like to know how is your experience with your Bum Genius so far?? How much you bought it and which type? When you changed 4-5 hours, you changed the entire diapers or just the inserts part?? I would also like to know is it breathable and can prevent nappy rash for your baby? Because my bb suffers from nappy rash problem and I was thinking to let her try on the cloth diapers. Thanks a lot. |

but i od fac some problem, when it come to button - if u button the middle one it is too tide, if u button out a bit it will too loose..
H*llo...i m new here... i have bought the burn wear fr babyloft after reading the comments by some of the mommies here.. I would like to ask, whether the insert is the only alternative for the burnwear... can we replace it wif the normal cloth diaper..? I havent tried Bumwear only tried Drybees. I think should be the same.. If you use napkin, it will only absorb once unlike the special insert is able to absorb more than one wet. |

Me too, I also recycle Mommy Poko's outer layer. During day time, we let baby wear cloth diapers wrap with mommy poko outer layer. it is very convenience cause we don't hv to use diaper pin and it won't leak. So far, only Mommy Poko brand's diapers are good enuogh to recycle.
U can try huggies too..... |

Hi Esther: I bought the bumwear from the babyloft last week and let my son tried on it during the weekend. To me, i am kinda satisfied with the products and i am pl*nning to buy more (maybe another 2 or 3 bumwears) as 2 are just not enough. My relatives commented that the bumwears look cute too. |

Dear Esther, I'm not sure of de reusable diaper's name, coz i didnt buy it, been given by my sis. But to me, i reckon de cotton 1 is good enough. As for ur info, nowadays de diapers r printed with those small flower / some other cutie pic, so may b if u c those in shops, that's it i think u can get it fr Anakku / Babyl*nd. As for rashes, i suggest u change another brand. Well, to me, i used to apply bb lotion for my gal whenever i change diapers for her. The purpose is to moisture. U may try this out & c whether suit ur bb or not. I only applied rashes cream twice 1 day, which is after bath. During day time u can choose a cheaper disposbale diapers like Drypers, Pet Pet or Fitti (i found de quality not bad), just change it more often lor, to reduce rashes. For de reusable 1, u better to change it whenever it's wet, or else store too long oso will cause rashes 1. I wish my experience could help u |

Hi, Esther, I didnt buy fr babyloft, mine was passing by my sis. I only use a few when i'm not working & fully taking care my gal during weekends. If u intend to save more rather than buying disposable diapers, i would say it's worth to buy a reusable 1. The only thing is whether u're rajin enough to wash & hang it
Hi Ming Choo, May I know which brand you are using? In fact, my baby uses disposable diapers (only mamy poko and Huggies) since birth but recently I noticed that she easily gets rashes on her bump (due to poo poo). I have put dropolene every time when change her diaper. Someone advised me to use the cloth diaper which I find that iis quite messy. That's why I am wondering whether the reusable one ( i.e. fresh bots etc) is working? Thanks Esther |

Hey I just asked the same question over at another category and nobody replied. Guess not many people here use it. I am wondering how often the diaper needs to be changed and can last throughout the night?
