ya i agree. on the box itself already gave warning to put only on flat surface meaning FLOOR. NOT table nor chair. I did put on the bumbo on the chair and my bb inside. and when she fell, i cannot blame the bumbo, i blame myself. Cause i m the one who put her there. Same goes to other chair ie: high chair, it is dangerous as well. if u compare bumbo and high chair, don't u think bumbo is more safer even if bb come out from it? |

just to correct the recall on the bumbo. i think its stupid. you know why? cause on the box and behind the bumbo, already said dont put on raised surface. but some stupid parents put it on raised surface like table and children fall out of it. basically the bumbo itself is not recalled, but when you call the hotline, they will give you a BIGGER sticker to mention this, the bumbo can still be used. so this issue is really just for PR purpose and the bumbo is still safe if you use CORRECTLY that is putting the bumbo on the floor, not on table. |

Hi Mommies, Just wanna share a piece of news I heard over the TV regarding Bumbo seats. There seems to be some injuries ie head injuries, from babies who climb out from the seat especially if it is placed on a flat surface ie tables..etc. The seat is having some real issues these days. I have one at home but stopped using it at the moment when I saw my 6.5months old boy turned his body to the side to get out of it. It is by far, a bad investment for us..sigh:( |

for me if u know that you going to have a 2nd or 3rd baby, then why not get a bumbo seat. i find it useful leh. eventhough my girl can come out from it, sometimes she will just try to go in by herselft and sit in it. so funny to see her trying to get in. haah but if u dont; intend to have another baby already, then of course dont' get it lah. it be waste of money. |

jane, i currently live overseas....hahaha and expecting 2nd baby so dont want and cannot sell the bumbo! right now my daughter use it as a toy, she can get in and out of it on her own. she is 1 years old. bumbo is not a must have item, its more of a luxury to my opinion. when i bought at first i thought good lah but babies are way way more clever so i find wasting money oni. but different babies may tolerate it differently. my bb always arch her back in the bumbo ALL THE TIME until she manage to get out of it. 4 months is easy mah to entertain. put him on his tummy and watch him explore his world. |

For me, bumbo is a good alternative to baby slings, so at least baby is safe and mommy can do other things without worrying too much. You can also buy bumbo from this online store - www.mybbstore.com |

my girl already 13 mth, and we still use the bumbo chair when we want to feed her or let her watch her show. i find it useful, at least even if she get out from the chair she won't hurt herself. better than highchair. |

i bought bumbo sitter for my son when he was les than 1 yr old. now he is 2 yrs old, still can sit, may b he is a bit small size gua. i found it very useful coz he know tat is his chair, whenever he feed him meal, he wil take out his bumbo sitter n standby. beside, v use as high chair - just put on top of the chair, but must b careful la, of course. |

My mom had just bought a Bumbo seat last month for my bb. For the 1st few times, he sat there quietly but later he can't sit still n keep on turning to his side. I am so afraid that his spine can't grow straight if he keeps on sitting like this.... |
