Hi We are in the aircon rooms most of the days during summer. So two times for my 8mo boy. He is an eczema baby, hence too many bath a day will drain off his natural body oil, not recommended by Dermatologist. However, once we were out, a bath is a definite thing to wash of the perspiration which triggers the flare-ups of his eczema.Likewise, he cant be bathed in too warm water. Regards
My son's skin is very dry when he is 3 mth old. Paed said he is also an eczema baby and recommend a cream called "Aqua cream" for him. I bath him twice a day and apply this cream 3 times a day. He is 1 yr old now. I didn't see any rashes or dry on his skin. So I dun think he is an eczema baby loh!!
I use Aqueous/Aqua Cream for my baby too. Apparently some eczema babies outgrow the dryness when they hit 1 to 1.5yrs old. Kudos to you for taking good care of him and looking into his bal*nced diet... Take care..Rgds |

My 5 months old DD bath 2 times a day, one time in the morning before 12pm and one time at night around 9pm before bed. My DD also born with very very dry skin. You can actually noticed skin peeling off from her little feet, so kasihan So our paed advise not to bath her with warm water because it will make her skin dry, just normal room temperature water and also using the oil base baby wash. No need to apply any cream. So far her skin is supple and no more dryness. I honestly think that using the right baby wash is very important. There is once I try her on other baby wash and her skin starts to have rashes because of dryness again .... at the moment, I start to use sebamed baby wash and I just love it!!!!! The smell also really nice and I know my baby's skin is in good hand!!! |

Hi Louise79 and Peimun, Thanks for the feedback. Unfortunately I can't bathe her earlier before 7pm. By the time we get back home, it's already past 7pm but we ensure all windows and no fan is switched on when she's been wiped down. So, I guess I'll only start bathing her at a later stage. Cheers!
Hi I really it should be fine to bath bb after 7pm using warm water. I always bath my boy boy at 8pm after confinement and now he is used to it already. |

Hi all... My daughter has a bath in the morning before I go to work and in the evening, she just has a wipe down. I'm a bit worried that at night bathing, she may catch a cold. Any opinions? She's only 2 1/2 months old. Cheers!
Like what peimun suggested, bath her b4 7pm. Make sure all windows and doors are close, do not on the fan as well. I will apply some 'Yu Yee oil' on bb stomach and his back to get rid of wind inside bb body. B4 she's going to bed, just wipe her if you feel she's sweart alot. But i only start to bath my son twice a day when he reach 4mths, b4 that just 1 bath 1 wipe. Take care. |

Wow...it seems like my babies are the most frequently bathe. Hehhehee....I bathe him 3 or 4 times a day regardless of the weather. I even started bathing my 2nd son 2 to 3 times a day during confinement. So far so good. Coz my bb no 2 would get rashes if he get hot. Thats y the paediatrician recommended me to bath my BB more often. |

I bath my baby 2 times a day (10am and 6pm), and wipe once again before change pyjamas to sleep at night. She is too active and sweat a lot. So, will only change her into pyjamas after I bring her into bedroom at about 9pm. |

ohh.. my DD now 14 months, bath twice a day since 2 months old. once ard 10am and once around 4pm. she easily sweats so, have to bath more often. and sometimes she plays till around evening time and sweats, i still have to wipe her with warm water. no choice.. better than a smelly baby. |
