Hi Noraidah,

Mind to tell which type of DM yr hubby is diagnosed ? type I (insulin dependent) or II (non-insulin dependent)

Medicine is to control the disease but if taking over the long term, it will cause a lot side-effect, I'm sure you are aware of it.

The best way to improve the condition or perhaps to cure it is to do the following

1.Healthy, bal*nced nutrition
2.Regular physical activity
3.Self-control of the sugar in the blood
4.Avoiding of stressful way of living
5.Taking pills and/or insulin if needed,

For the above 2-5 .. your hubby hv to do it by himself, but for bal*nce nutrition, beside daily bal*nced meals there are concentrated wholesome food that are available to enhance his immune system, especially his endocrine system. These food are produced based on the science of Nutritional Immunology that studies the link between proper nutrition and our body immune system

Well, for more info, maybe you can write to me at jeffskg@yahoo.com

cheers
