Hi!

Thanks so much for the advices.    I really appreciate golfmum and daph_c sharing their expriences.

For the past few day, I tried to get Daddy more involve.

Daddy was with Bebe during his class for the first time last Saturday n both of them had a good time. And when I need to get some housework done, I will tell Bebe to look for his Daddy and he actually go crawling looking for his father.    Well, so far it's working lah. But when Bebe wants his milk, food and nap, he will definitely look for me.    Hehe at least to him I'm a food and nap provider. Daddy will be the bedtime stories, nap songs and fun time person.

Will update with more stuffs especially when Daddy tells me he don't feel left out anymore.

Don't force him to be with Daddy alone. What Daddy can do is to hang around & be involved with whatever activity you are doing with you child. After awhile he'll naturally start to look for Daddy & want Daddy to do things with/for him...& may probably not need you to be around..

Hi all,

Need some advise from moms and dads out there.    My Bebe is already 1 year 2 weeks.    Bebe is going thru the separation anxiety now.    He wants no one when I'm around even the dad also don't want.    But Bebe accepts that both of us have to go to work.    My MIL takes care of him during the day.

So the problem is how to make sure my hubby don't feel left out especially when Bebe want me only. He have to literally tear him away from me when I need him too carry Bebe.

Furthermore, Bebe is attending class on the weekend which requires one parent around.    I have been the one with him.    Now hubby wants to alternate to be with him.    I'm worried that Bebe will not participate in the class if he realise I'm not around.

Advises?
Hi Isfashley
My little boy used to be like that.    Do not force him "away" but gently by telling him.    When your husband about to carry him, prepare the toys or books that your baby has interest in.    My son likes butterfly so when my husband carried him, he will said, " Come, daddy will show you the butterly".    My little boy will willingly follow him and he will repeat by saying "ba-ba-by"! Now my little boy is so attached to daddy.....
