Hi here, I have been breat feeding till recently my breast milk quant*ty dropped due to stress level. I am looking to rent a hospital graded pump to boost it back (am currently using mendela pump in style, which is one of the best in the market). Does anyone know who I can contact?
Dear Cookie, I m keen to find out more on the breastpump on renting basis. I.e. the models available and the range of charges. As I wil be due end of the yr and sceptical on which brand to buy, need to standby if I need it. Pls email me the details at fionseow@ yahoo.com. tq

thanks so much!
hi eemie, alternatively you can give Avent IQ ISIS UNO/DUO a try. Its about RM600+ (I think) right now. For me, I was using the Medela Mini Electric Pump and somehow, its pumping motion seemed to have "bruised" my n*ppl* and I end up not being able to pump my regular amount of milk. A friend of mine suggested the Avent pump and it works so well for me! It has these cushion pads to m*ssage the areola for optimum milk outflow. Also, you have to be relaxed during the session, your milk supply will surely be interruptered if you're stressed. Make sure you're seated comfortably, play a little soothing music, or maybe get a nice foot soak, dim the lights and relax. Also helpful to think of your baby during the session, or smell an item of your baby or use a warm compress to help with the "let down" of milk. For more understanding and reading you can check this website out -> www.kellymoms.com I think our fellow mommy AidaR did post this website in one of her replies sometime ago. Its a very informative and educational site for breastfeeding mothers. Happy reading! |

I bought it from SJMC. Standard price for 2 oz will be RM 45.00. Actually drink red dates or soup can boost milk supply.Oh yes, papaya soup helps a lot too but I yet to try. Must drink warm liquid and not only plain water lar. |

lilyosl, what is this milk maid tea and where to buy? Is it specifically for increasing breast milk?
Milk tea can help some mommy to increase bm. you can get from bb shop or online store that selling breastfeeding stuff. I already BF for 7months+. But never take milk tea before. I took more protein food like soya... |

Are u full time pumping? if yes, I suggest u to increase your pumping frequency to boost yr supply using yr Medela PISA. (I'm not PISA user) Yes, stress level will affect our supply. To reduce stress, i have a walk or do some strecthing/exercise or think about baby. i never rent any hospital pump to boost BM supply. At work, I just using my ameda lactaline to simulate my n*ppl* and pump more frequently. IT WORKS! So give your self a try first?
What is ameda lactaline? Is it a product? How much and where can I get it? |

Hello Eamie, Try contacting my friend, Vivian who is the owner of FabulousMom who sells nursing bra and lots of other things related to breastfeeding including breastpump. I think she also rents out pumps. PM me if you want the contact information. Cheers, cookie www.mycandyflor ist.com www.motherlyjournal.wordpress.com |
