hi, thanks for ur info sharing! i am staying in BMC and now hunting for my boy kindy too. He's still young, bcoz he was born in dec, he will be just 2 yrs 1 month next year. But i'd like to send him to kindy as he was quite bored in nanny house. so i'm looking for one kindy who can let him 'play hard' and not 'learn hard'. little inventer sounds ok, but will they accept child as young as mine?
I noticed that there are 2 yo toddler in the school however, you may call them up to find out, The contact number is 03-90767272
Thank Jacqueline, it sound good, i will go ask and have a closer look, did you fetch your child your own or tumpang the school van ?? is it secure to take school van ?? Dear yuett: I girl start taking the school van on the 3rd day after she attended the kindy. At that time she was 3 years and one month. The uncle is good in handling cranky kid and of course with the co-operation from the parent. We struggled for about 2 weeks and finally she settled down. The uncle has 2 sons so he really love taking of little girl. This year I decided to fetch her to school on my way to work as she is more independent now and she will follow the van for the return trip. This will be her last year in Little Inventor and they are going to have graduation ceremony this coming Friday 29 August 2008 at PJ Civic Hall. |

From what I heard from my girl and the activity photo taken, they have weekly morning circle, they used to have activities like planting fruit trees, watering plant, gym ball, weekly *ssembly, outdoor games, etc. Which to me, as a working parent would like my kids to exposed to all kind of outdoor activities like these when we are not free to accompany them. They also have field trip based on the theme of the month/semester. For instance when they study sea creatures, mammals they will visit KLCC Aquarium, rabbit farm, they also visited UPM when they learned about plants. In my girl's cl*ss there are Malay and Indian students as well. They also have yearly concert and sports day (combined 7 centres). As for more details You may want to call them up and visit them to get a closer look yourself. Basically I like the relatively big compound, outdoor activities, "Zing Shi Yu" (moral value). Most of the teachers are very caring too. However, in terms of academic aspects they are just at average level only. Not to forget also, they have jolly phonics and jolly grammar which is a fun and effective way to learn English. (They use songs to help the kids to recognise the sounds of the letter.). Best regards |

Can I know the schooling timetable and monthly fees? For outdoor activities, you means still at the building or go outside like visit factory, totally out of school? |

Hi mummies, anyone of your kids study in litte inventor in sg.long ? I plan to send my gal (30 mths) to this kiddy, can any one share the experience with me ? thank you very much
Dear Yuett: I sent my daughter to Little Inventor since she was 4. Basically the teacher is very helpful and caring particularly Teacher Wendy. However from my experience, they are not very academic oreinted (that is what I am looking for) and have quite a lot or outdoor activities. And not to forget the school driver is very helpful and caring too. They are teaching "Zing Shi Yu" during moral cl*ss. My girl is in 6 yo cl*ss now. |
