...If u r lucky to find others, usually less than RM10/book.

If we buy direct from the websites all 24 books with USD 24.95 plus USD 22 for shipping cost (around RM 170 ++) which way worth it?
Siew Yee, USD24.95 is only for the BFIAR guide/teacher's manual. 24-book package (without the manual) is USD129.95. So, if u want a complete set, it's USD154.90.

U can also source for the guide/manual from amazon/ebay/etc. (as far as I know, not available here). Rainbow Resource Center sells it cheaper at USD19.75:
http://www.rainbowresource.com/proddtl.php?sid =1166228525-1542756&id=001512

But for the 24 books, u can slowly collect them locally (Paylessbooks, library. Acmamall, Caterpillarhouse, MPH, Borders, etc.) I think there r a few copies of Goodnight Moon & Runaway Bunny at PayLessBooks for RM5-7. If u r lucky to find others, usually

Dear Wai Han,

Thanks for the info. However I still searching through the websites which you suggested and can't find the books. You purchased the books online? Expensive? If we buy direct from the websites all 24 books with USD 24.95 plus USD 22 for shipping cost (around RM 170 ++) which way worth it?

Where can I get the series of books for 'five in a row'?
Unless u get all 24 books from their website (shipping is very expensive), u'll have to search for them 1 by 1. Acmamall (www.acmamall.com) carries quite a number of them. So does CaterpillarHouse (www.caterpillarhouse.com). I got a few from paylessbooks (www.paylessbooks.com.my) & found some from library. And I still don't have the complete set of 24 but it doesn't matter as u dun have to go by any sequence.

Appreciate if you could share your opinion with me about the price and any other similar product in the market.
Agree with golfmum that it's too expensive. It's better to go by the kid's interest. My DD & I enjoy Before Five In A Row by Jane Claire Lambert:
http://www.fiveinarow.com/before/introduction.h tml
The book gives u ideas & activities to do, which requires minimum preparation, based on a list of 24 children books:
http://www.fiveinarow.com/before/booklist.html These children books r specially selected becoz they r classics & entice children. U can find these books in library/bookstores. U r supposed to read the same book for 5 days (hence the name 'five in a row'), then each day u discuss different aspects of the book - bible (skip if not christian), maths, science, art, l*nguage, social studies, etc. the website gives a sample for 'We're Going On A Bear Hunt':
http://www.fiveinarow.com/before/sample.html
Even if u dun have time for the ideas/activities, reading these books would give u much enjoyment too.
