Yes, JE vaccine is compulsory for all infants in Sarawak & Sabah... My son took the first jab when he was 13mths old, 2nd jab on the following month and the 3rd and final jab when he was 2 yrs old... the first & the final jab must not be more than 12 months apart... that's what I was told by the paed...

Hi,

The JE vaccine in the immunazation schedule which is given by my ex-paed, it it written there, 10 mths old baby for 1st jab, 10.5 mths old is 2nd jab and 3rd jab is 16 mths old..

I changed my paed after my gal's fullmoon. and i just follow the schedule, my paed is telling me it's optional of taking the JE vaccine.

I visited the gov klinik ibu, they do not offer this JE vaccine.. I'm confusing now, is this the same thing we are talking abt

hi janet. it is a must to get the JE vaccine. if i'm not wrong, this jab is free at government clinic, if u deliver at GH.
yufei,

i delivered my gal at private hospital, but i visited gov klinik ibu during my pregnancy. my gal has the red card given by klinik ibu, i've checked with it, they only provide BCG, HEP B, DPT-HIB, DPT-DT, OPV, Measeles and MMR..

some of my frens' bb didn't take the JE vacination.. my paed told me it is a must to take for Sabah ppl.. he also said it's up me to whether to vaccine or not but it's better to take..
